Our Commitment to Health

Genetic Health Guarantee:

Every purebred Moore Bengal kitten comes with a industry-leading 3-Year Genetic Health Guarantee against fatal hereditary or congenital defects.

Comprehensive Health at Placement:

Your kitten is guaranteed to be in excellent health at the time of adoption, free from Feline Leukemia (FeLV)Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), and intestinal parasites. They will be up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and vet checks.

Transparency:

You will receive a complete copy of your kitten’s health records and relevant DNA test results.

Your Responsibilities as the New Owner

To keep this guarantee valid, we require the following:

Veterinary Examination:

You must have your kitten examined by a licensed veterinarian of your choice within three (3) business days of arrival.

Health Assessment:

A dated copy of the veterinarian’s health assessment must be emailed to us within ten (10) days of receiving your kitten. Failure to do so will void this guarantee.

Guarantee Coverage & Replacement Policy

What is Covered:
If, within the first 3 years, your kitten passes away due to a proven hereditary or congenital defect, we will provide a replacement kitten of similar quality. To initiate a claim, we must receive a complete necropsy report from a licensed veterinarian confirming the cause of death. Moore Bengal Cattery is not responsible for the costs of the necropsy or shipping of the replacement kitten.

What is Not Covered:
This guarantee does not cover:

Common illnesses resulting from environmental stress, such as minor Upper Respiratory Infections.

Conditions developed after the kitten leaves our care, including those related to injury, neglect, or improper diet.

Veterinary costs incurred after the kitten is in your possession.

Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP), as it is caused by a mutation of a common virus and cannot be predicted or guaranteed against. Please note: Vaccinating for FIP will void this guarantee.

Replacement Process

If a qualifying condition is confirmed, we will offer a replacement kitten. A maximum of four (4) kittens will be offered. If all offers are declined, the buyer forfeits their right to a replacement. Cash refunds are not available.

This guarantee is voided by any evidence of abuse, neglect, or failure to provide necessary veterinary care.

By adopting a kitten from Moore Bengal Cattery, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this health guarantee.
